Rachel Tinaya, LCSW

Rachel Tinaya is an LCSW with over 18 years of experience in the field of social work and mental health. Rachel's guiding question, both in her own life and as therapist, is: "Are you merely existing or are you cultivating life in your life?" Rachel's mission is to create a safe space where individuals can embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

Drawing from a diverse background of working with clients across various life stages, from young children to older adults, Rachel specializes in supporting individuals coping with grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and chronic or terminal illness. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in mindfulness and strength-based practices.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Asbury University (2005) and a Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee (2010). She became a Licensed Clinical Social Work in 2020. Through a blend of evidence-based techniques and personalized care, Rachel empowers clients to navigate life's challenges and cultivate a fulfilling existence through DBT here at The Middle Path.
