Ashley Truman, LCSW

Teen Therapist

Hi! My name is Ashley Truman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and my Master of Social Work degree from East Tennessee State University, with additional academic experience at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
I am excited to join the Middle Path team and support individuals in developing and strengthening Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. I have experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and crisis services. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
I am passionate about working with teens in group settings and believe group therapy can be a powerful space for connection, growth, and skill-building. My goal is to create a supportive, validating, and safe environment for both teens and their families, where clients feel empowered to build coping skills, improve relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
