Alynda Worrell-Welch, LPC-MHSP (T)

Group Therapist

I have been working as a counselor since 2023, when I graduated with my master’s degree in clinical mental health. Since then, I have gained experience in working with couples, trauma, and depression. I am especially passionate about issues that impact women and LGBTQ+ folks. I love finding points of connection with my clients, and learning about their unique experiences that shape the way they see the world.
I began my journey with The Middle Path as an intern in graduate school, and am so happy to be back as a therapist. I value DBT as a modality for the balance it strikes between acceptance and change, mindfulness and concrete tools.
I have lived in Appalachia my whole life, and have a deep love for the region. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, and ballet.
