Edha Meadows-Brown, LCSW

Group Therapist

Hello! My name is Edha Meadows-Brown (she/her), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of University of Tennessee’s College of Social Work, where I obtained my Master’s degree. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College, where I studied both Mass Communication and Religion. I am so excited to join the Middle Path family! I have a passion for group treatment and believe it is an intervention that provides clients with the momentum they need to heal, connect and facilitate change. For nearly 10 years, I was a therapist in the Partial Hospitalization program at Blount Memorial Hospital (Emotional Health & Recovery Center); my experience there allowed me the opportunity to provide therapy and psychoeducation in a group setting; I know firsthand what a powerful modality group can be!

More recently, I have been working as an EAP (employee-assistance program) professional and Management Consultant, assisting employers and employees in finding helpful mental health solutions that improve overall mental health and contribute to work-life balance. I believe we are all striving to be our best selves and that therapy can provide us with the guidance we need to reach our goals.

I have experience working with adults from various populations who are struggling with many different mental health concerns. I employ many different modalities to assist clients, and look forward to assisting clients at the Middle Path.
