Hi! I’m Mandy, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of Maryville College, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University where I obtained a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling. I began providing clinical services in an outpatient setting that utilized a community mental health model and spent the last six years serving adolescents and adults with substance use disorders/ co-occurring mental disorders in the court system and residential treatment setting.
My approach to therapy is evidenced-based, client-centered, and theoretically eclectic approach; while I do utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tailor my approach to the individual needs of each client. I have a passion for working with many types of individuals, but especially those who have experienced trauma, have personality disorders, and have chronic mood instability or anxiety and depression.
I hope to provide a safe and positive environment where we can work together to meet your goals. Look forward to hearing from you!
