Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of Adler University (Chicago, IL) where I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings ranging from Inpatient care at a Psychiatric Hospital to Outpatient Therapy in a community mental health agency. For the past 8 years, I have worked with numerous populations suffering from substance use and co-occurring mental illnesses.
I believe that one’s physical health and mental health should balance with one another. I do this balancing with clients through an evidenced-based and client-centered therapeutic approach. Do you have trauma from the past that is affecting your day-to-day life now? Is there a history of addiction in your life to certain substances or behaviors? We can work together to achieve total abstinence or harm reduction to help you reach your goals through Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I look forward to meeting you!
